#37 - Concussion

December 3, 2016
Concussion is a much bigger deal than most people think, and it's something athletes, coaches and parents should all be across.
  • The AFL put on a stellar symposium on all things concussion in February 2017 and Jacob was lucky enough to attend. You can check out all the videosfrom the lectures and Q&A sessions here on the AFL website
  • For concussion management, we strongly recommend parents download the Headcheck app to be able to instantly test athletes suspected of concussion
  • And lastly, the book and movie concussion is an interesting read/watch on the startling new evidence coming from the NFL and the politics which is slowing its mainstream acceptance. (personally, the book is better - Jacob)
